UJU Electronics creates new value through countless connections and opens up infinite possibilities

Introduction

Established in 1993, UJU Electronics has been manufacturing precision connectors and electronic parts and supplying high-quality products with its cutting-edge technologies and automated production facility. 

Even though it manufactures excellent products with innovative technologies and automated facility, there was an absence of a platform where the existing clients and potential international buyers can browse the products and order samples. Thus, it needed a digital environment where everyone can search and browse various kinds of connectors with more convenience and ease.

Solution

What we needed first was a renewal to give a unique identity of UJU Electronics which is more useful and reliable out of the outdated one. Accordingly, we built a more sophisticated design system of UJU Electronics utilizing the red color, the main brand color of it, and organized lines implying the precise details and connectors.We also designed the site architecture following the priority group according to the purpose and emphasized the product contents.

In addition, the website provides a specified filtering function to help users searching various product groups and options easily, and each product has emblems of its features on the main image so users can discover the specifications even on the list page.Since the main connector items were hidden under other connectors in the previous website, it was not easy and convenient to see the main items even through several steps. But now, it becomes fast and easy to find the details of products on the website.

Result

We made a unified design system applied to from “Linked In,” a social media channel run by UJU Electronics, to its website in order to add solid and professional image to the brand.

Moreover, the new design has enhanced the product cognition by organizing the products in a more immersive manner unlike the old one failing to appeal the options of product groups. The previous website had high bounce rate since users needed to move to out-links to see the product details. But we successfully increased the duration time by making the product details and information found fast and easily within the site.

In the past, the website rather focused on enhancing the brand awareness by consisting of the contents and menus introducing company and business units. But now UJU Electronics, which is already well-known and influential in the industry, has moved a step further to having a new digital platform where the best quality products can be shared globally.
